Hannah Howell

Hannah began teaching ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, and pointe preparation classes at the age of twelve and later danced with the
San Diego Ballet Company. She has studied both Royal and Cecchettie ballet technique as well as participating in and teaching
many hip hop workshops. She likes to focus on technique and well as fun movements.
She will be adding more class offerings in the future. Call for availability
Swing-Salsa-Ballroom
Tina Ferris-Owner/Director
Tina has been teaching, dancing and performing in Ballroom, Latin, Swing and Country dance for over 17 years. She worked
professionally out of the Starlite Ballroom in Sunnyvale Ca. for three years where she competed with students at events around
the country. While working at Starlite she also received coaching from some of the top competitors and coaches in the country.
She also lived in Arizona for several years where she worked at the Kyote Ballroom and received extensive training in
International Latin style dance. She currently dances and performs West Coast Swing with her husband Stephen. She teaches
several evenings a week at the Dance Factory.
Tina opened the Dance Factory so she could have a place to instruct that felt like home. She wanted a small studio where people
could walk in and feel comfortable. She also wanted a great youth program so her five year old daughter could grow up dancing!
Stephen Ferris-Swing Specialist
Stephen Ferris is our resident West Coast Swing specialist. He has a love for the dance that is evident as he shows off on the
dance floor. He has been a swing instructor now for 3 years and loves to teach. His emphasis is on "just throwing down and
getting into the music" He teaches with his wife Tina at the Monday night Swing class. He also performs with Tina. He has placed
in the top 10 in several national swing events. He keeps things fun and light and has a charisma that makes people want to learn
to dance. Monday night beginner swing is at 7:00---hope to see you there!
Elronn Ferguson-Salsa Specialist
Elronn is the main instructor for our Friday Night Salsa classes. He is energetic, entertaining, professional and available for
private lessons!
